This lightweight and portable adapter can be used to transmit both audio and video from a computer or tablet to an HD display with audio out via HDMI. It supports video resolutions up to 1920x1080 and 1080P (Full HD), as well as flawless audio pass-through.

However, if you are connecting through VGA, you will need to connect a 3.5mm audio jack from the adapter to your external speakers to get sound output. Similarly, when connecting via DVI, you should connect the audio port on your input device to your external audio devices to get sound.

The adapter also supports external power supply. When connecting high-power devices or when the adapter's own power is low, you can connect an external power supply via the Micro-B 5V power port to charge the adapter.

Regarding the connections: 1. For HDMI cable connections to your HDTV or displays with audio output, the video and audio will output simultaneously. 2. If your HDMI displays do not have audio output, please connect the 3.5mm audio jack from your input devices to your external displays to get sound. 3. When connecting through VGA to your external displays, connect the 3.5mm audio jack from the adapter to your external speakers to output sound. 4. For DVI connections to your external displays, connect the audio port on your input devices to your external audio devices to get sound output.

Please ensure to set the audio output settings on your input devices to the HDMI displays.

Important notes: 1. If you connect VGA to a monitor from your laptop, and the VGA cannot transmit audio, the audio can only be connected through the audio cable from the adapter to external speakers. 2.
